American Idol Final Results

So I decided not to post right away on the results of American Idol because some people didn't get to see it because they TIVO it or DVR it. I didn't want to spoil the surprise... Kris Allen! is your American Idol!
I was rooting for the underdog but thought he had a good chance because he was more real and certainly was most improved from beginning to end. The show was great overall as expected. Adam was a gracious number 2 and will certainly have an enormous following. Seriously, how great is it that these people get to sing duets with the big stars! I wish I had a voice like that and be a nobody one day, and a true collaborator the next hob knobing with the likes of KISS!

The Dual!

Well as Randy says, "you can sing your face off! Dude". They both can really, really sing. My favorite song started the show with Adam Lambert and Mad World. Love it! I will say though, Kris Allen is so strong as an acoustic artist. I think it will be an extremely close vote in the final. The nice thing is, even if you don't win, it might just be a better deal. Your not as "under contract" with the Idol machine. I think, when its all said and done, they are both winners. Its cliche but its true. My vote is actually for Kris. I thought he sucked at the start of idol when they first picked him but he definitely turned it on throughout the season. Adam is good! He can hit notes nobody can. Sometimes I think all the songs run together because of it. Not that I wont go see him, because he F'n rocks. I just really think Kris can appeal to the masses. Go Kris, go Elvis! Oops I mean Adam ;)

PS. My vote is for Kris even though I think Adam will actually win the grand prize.

Bachelorette

This show was hilarious in my opinion. This is the first time I have seen it, but it got me rolling. One of the male contestants entered from out of the limo (as I guess they all did) to the new bachelorette. Apparently, he needed a hug. "Hug it out" he says, lets, "hug it out". Now I am all about getting and giving a hug and they even had a video about it, which I think is kind of viral now, FREE HUGS but this was just too funny. OK everyone, Hug It Out with me and keep returning to the blog! I update regularly ;)
P.S. whats with the guy named Jillian? Is someone really going to pick a sole mate with the same first name? Weird!

Adam Lambert was on his way... before Idol

Apparently, and admittedly not surprisingly, Adam Lambert had a singing life before Idol. He performed twice in "Wicked" as well as in "The Ten Commandments". Both Musicals.
Now at the ripe age of 27 Adam Lambert is the front runner to take the "Idol" crown next Wednesday. We will have to wait and see. I have a feeling there might be another upset in our Idol future. It could come down to how Simon, Paula, Randy, and the newest member Kara decide to tout the competitors horn? (though, they usually do a pretty good job at the end lobbing for both ;)

Hells Kitchen Finally 2009

Well the season is over. What a great show! Hells kitchen had a wonderful finally. Paula didnt make it. No quality. The comment cards proved it. Danny rocks! Who won? Danny Won. They both did a fantastic job in the end. Both gave it a fantastic effort but Danny nailed it.
